Hot Pilates is a strength-based Pilates class in a heated room. While the exercises are controlled, the heat places extra demand on the body.
You are generally fit and healthy
You are comfortable exercising in a warm environment
You enjoy slower, strength-focused Pilates
Have a heart condition or high blood pressure
Experience dizziness, fainting, or heat intolerance
Have asthma, MS, diabetes, kidney disease, or migraines
Are pregnant or recently postnatal
Experience anxiety or menopausal symptoms worsened by heat
