So many women I work with feel exactly the same, especially in midlife, when hormones, stress and busy lives all collide. The good news? There are gentle, realistic ways to feel more energised and more like yourself again — without pushing harder or doing “all the things”.

Simple ways to boost your energy

Energy doesn’t come from doing more — it often comes from doing things differently.

A few gentle reminders:

  • Short bursts of movement count (even 10 minutes)

  • Drinking enough water really matters

  • Sleep is not a luxury — it’s a foundation

You don’t need to change everything at once. Pick one thing and build from there.

Movement for mood (because your mind matters too)

Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have for managing stress, anxiety and low mood — and it doesn’t have to be intense.

Walking, yoga, strength work, dancing around the kitchen… it all counts. The best kind of movement is the one you’ll actually do — and maybe even enjoy.

You don’t have to do this on your own

One of the biggest things I see helping women stay consistent (and kinder to themselves) is community.

Being around other women who get it — the ups, the downs, the busy weeks — makes such a difference. Support, encouragement and shared wins really do matter.
